Broad-leaved Pondweed

LEAVES : Opposite, broad above water; long and narrow underwater.

PLANT HEIGHT : Water surface, to 1m deep.

FLOWER SIZE : 3–4mm wide.

FRUIT : Four small nutlets, each 3–4mm long.

FLOWERING TIME : May–September.

SIMILAR SPECIES : Frogbit , which has white flowers; Amphibious Bistort.
