Pale Flax

Pale Flax
Although the flowers of Pale Flax have five petals, they are often seen with fewer in the afternoon, for after midday these begin to fall off. They are a delicate lilac shade with violet veins, and form a flat or saucer-shaped flower. The slender, erect stems bear just a few stalkless, linear leaves, which have one or three veins.
