Bramble

Bramble
Also known as Blackberry, Bramble is divided by some botanists into hundreds of microspecies, but they all look very similar. The tenacious scrambling stems are covered with vicious thorns and, arching down to the ground, take root to form new plants. Rose-like flowers, present throughout summer, may be any shade from white to deep pink or
purple. The edible fruit is a cluster of segments called drupelets that ripen from green to red to blue-black and may be seen at the same time as the flowers.
